Eiffel scholarship 2016

Level:

Masters, Doctorate in the framework of joint supervision or co-supervision of thesis with a foreign partner institution

Fields of study:

Engineering sciences for masters level, sciences for doctorate level (maths, physics, chemistry, life sciences, nanotechnology and biotechnology, earth sciences, environment sciences, technology of communication and information), Economics and management, Political sciences, law

 

Duration:

For masters courses –

Maximum 12 months for M2

Maximum 24 months for M1

Maximum 36 months for the preparation of an engineering degree

For Ph.D courses-

Maximum duration 10 months

Only law students can do French language courses along with their studies. A separate request must be made in the application file.

  6. The scholarship is open to candidates of foreign nationality. Dual nationality holders are not applicable.
  7. Maximum 30 years of age as on 07/3/1985 for masters candidates, 35 years of age as on 07/31980 for Ph.D candidates.
  8. The scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships.
  9. Institutions preselecting non-francophone candidates must ensure that their linguistic level is an adequacy with the required level.
  10. Ex Eiffel masters scholars may apply for the Eiffel doctorate scholarship.

The tuition fees are not included in the scholarship. Scholarship holders are exempted from the university registration fees.

Application

Institutions shortlist candidates that they want to send for the Eiffel program. Institutions fill and submit application files to Campus France online. Institutions cannot exceed 40 applications each. Institutions communicate to Campus France through mail the list of candidatures submitted online before 8th January 2016. The list must carry the institution’s stamp as well as the Director’s signature.
