The European Commission (EC) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India have launched a flagship call on the next generation influenza vaccine.
For this call, the EC through the European Union funding programme for research and innovation ‘Horizon 2020’ has committed EUR 15 million and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, agreed to match that amount. In total, funding of EUR 30 million will thus be available for joint project proposals. Applicants from other countries may also join EU-India consortia.

DBT and the Delegation of the European Union to India are pleased to announce the information and project preparation events in four cities (New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune) in India. The first information and networking event will take place in New Delhi on 28 August 2018 at Hotel Méridien and Hyderabad on 30 August 2018.
